  2. Glad to see Pinoys in your part of the world gathering together on an important patriotic day. I suppose besides the singing, there were plenty of Pinoy food as well?

    • This was my first independence celebration after 4 years’ stay in Northern Ireland. Pinoy food and delicacies were present but I think Pinoys are more excited to watch the performances/entertainment. Pinoy community in Lisburn is quite active to organise various cultural programs. During the Pista sa Nayon this weekend, the food is not impressive and it was expensive to buy, so mostly people brought their food. Im sure you had a wonderful celebration esp where you are now!
