Quezon City’s first film fest

I watched the two films out of three featured films, namely: LUKAS NINO and HELLO WORLD. Bit disoriented with Lukas Nino, and tempted to leave the cinema at the middle of the screening. But I patiently waited until the last scene of the film. This film is about superstition and deceit – something different from others that I have watched before. It seems that the screenplay and directing are really out of my comprehension! Is this a good sign or the other way around? On the other hand, Hello World is simple and funny film about growing up and parenting. Well, supporting indie movies is something we should do nowadays – helping local talents and producers.
